M&E Assistant Job Description
The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Assistant will be responsible for designing and implementing M&E systems to track the progress, impact, and effectiveness of a peacebuilding and local conflict resolution project. The role includes developing data collection tools, conducting field assessments, analysing project outcomes, and providing recommendations to enhance program effectiveness. The M&E Assistant will ensure that project activities align with key performance indicators and donor requirements while fostering a culture of learning and accountability.
Main Tasks
Technical Support and Management:
1. M&E System Development and Implementation:
· Design and implement M&E frameworks for tracking peacebuilding and conflict resolution initiatives.
· Develop indicators to measure project impact on community cohesion, conflict mitigation, and local governance improvements.
· Establish data collection and reporting mechanisms aligned with donor requirements.
2. Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting:
· Conduct field visits to monitor project activities, ensuring alignment with objectives and community needs.
· Design and administer surveys, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews to assess project effectiveness.
· Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to measure progress, identify trends, and generate insights.
· Prepare comprehensive reports for internal use, donors, and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
3. Learning and Adaptation:
· Document lessons learned and best practices to inform adaptive management and future program strategies.
· Facilitate periodic review meetings with project teams to assess progress and adjust approaches as needed.
· Support the development of learning briefs and case studies on successful peacebuilding interventions.
4. Capacity Building and Stakeholder Engagement:
· Train project staff and local partners on M&E methodologies, data collection, and reporting standards.
· Work closely with local stakeholders, including community leaders and government entities, to ensure participatory monitoring.
· Ensure conflict-sensitive M&E approaches that respect local dynamics and promote inclusivity.

Qualifications
Essential
- A university degree in electrical engineering or similar and previous experience in monitoring and evaluation are required.
· At least 5 years of experience in M&E within peacebuilding, conflict resolution, or governance projects.
· Strong understanding of peacebuilding frameworks, conflict sensitivity, and social cohesion indicators.
· Experience in designing and managing M&E systems for complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
· Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, SPSS, or other relevant software).
· Strong reporting skills with the ability to present findings clearly to donors and stakeholders.
· Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
· Fluency in English and Arabic (preferred).

Project Manager Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific project and its specified deliverables. In collaboration with NAHR colleagues, he/she will conduct project site assessments, work with beneficiaries, local community members and sometimes other national NGOs to establish the project. The Project Manager will also be responsible for project management, including work plans and budgets, establishing the M&E framework for the project, reporting, day-to- day project implementation and logistics, external communications, and monitoring and evaluation. He/she will work both in an NAHR sub-office and in the field. The Project Manager reports directly to the Supervisor Direct This position is full-time, based on a 40-hour work week, but varies from week to week as humanitarian need constantly oscillates according to the unstable conflict environment and funding availability.
Main Tasks
Technical Support and Management:
- Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for the donor and the field staff
- Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the donor organization.
- Oversee the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning, timeline creation, budgeting, action plans, BOQ development, and monitoring and reporting processes.
· Supervise all field activities, including management of field supervisors and field assistants;
· Oversee and assist the project field teams in the planning and implementation of all field activities including but not limited to distributions, trainings, and community outreach;
· Plan and oversee resources and logistical requirements for project activities;

· Create monthly activity plans and timelines for all project activities in conjunction with the project team, ensuring fair distribution of tasks amongst team members;

Qualifications
Essential
· University degree in Agricultural, Constructional Irrigation, Social Sciences, Administration Business specialization, or a related subject.
· At least 3 - 5 years’ experience working in food security, Education, or management projects.
· Experience with project management cycle, budgets, and donor requirements.
· Previous experience in a humanitarian setting.
· Excellent interpersonal and representative skills (written, oral, cross - cultural).
· Experience working with governments, UN bodies, INGOs and local NGOs.
· Experience in donor relation.

Senior Logistics Officer Job Description
The Senior Logistic Officer will be responsible for all tasks and activities of the Project which includes coordinating, consolidating, and ensuring smooth implementation of and adherence to logistic and fleet procedures and provides logistical support to project’s field offices. She/he is also in charge of building the capacity of field logistics assistants team members. This position is full-time, based on a 40-hour work week, but varies from week to week as humanitarian need constantly oscillates according to the unstable conflict environment and funding availability.
Main Tasks
Technical Support and Management:
· Prepare procurement procedures in accordance with the rules, regulations and manuals adopted in coordination with the program.
· Prepare various procedures around OCHA project implementation within NAHR’s Procurement Policies, including direct or urgent purchases
· Prepare Technical Request for Proposals (RFPs), all Tender documents and sharing in tender analysis in coordination with the project manager, Program Manager and operations manager.
· Prepare the logistic plan for projects and follow-up and update it by monthly
· Record purchases within NAHR’s procurement documents in order to prove materials purchased are classified and entered in the financial system
· Follow-up and monitor purchased materials to ensure proper procurement and distribution to warehouses in accordance with invoices, specifications and purchase contracts
· Document, control and execute receipt of invoices received from suppliers.
· Match supplier invoices with warehouse’s purchase orders and receipt of supplies, issued by administration, and indicate supply’s safety.
· Match the total balance of the inventory control record with the balance in the system.
· Keep inventory of suppliers' debts whose period has expired with periodic reports.
· Create a file for each resource needed/ordered, containing all correspondence and agreements between NAHR and the supplier. Make sure all files are consistently labelled, indexed and organized to facilitate accessing and referencing it.
· Preparation and ending all documents related to the project first, without delay, and prepare a monthly report.
· Ensure sound management for fleet and staff movement activities
· Follow up and ensure timely release for transportation costs
Reporting and Coordination
· Assist the Operations Manager in preparing the procurement plan of OCHA project.
· Participate in the Inventory Committee periodically, and, at the end of the year, in coordination with the Warehouse Manager, match the inventory results with inventory control records and search for discrepancies (if any) and report them.
· Coordinate with the Project Manager, Field Officers, and Supervisors to identify stock gaps and ordering needs to ensure supplies are fully stocked for corresponding projects.
Administrative Duties
· Review the invoices received from suppliers and match them with suppliers' contracts, identify any discrepancies, if any, and follow them up.
· Follow-up late invoices with suppliers.
· Report on non-moving, slow-moving, obsolete and stagnant items.
· Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in information Technology or data management and processing field or its equivalent.

The M&E Assistant supports the M&E team in all monitoring, evaluation and reporting-related activities and requirements of projects. This includes the development of the Project’s M&E framework, the development of a performance monitoring system, overseeing the maintenance of monitoring data collections systems (including developing and maintaining a project data base). · Support M&E section in the coordination process to establish programme level M&E systems
· Help the team in working on the M&E planning and providing supporting in planning the M&E annual work plan

· Being familiar with digitalized data collection

- Experience with field-level coordination with other stakeholders UN, INGOs, NNGOs and Government.
- Commitment to the aims and principles of NAHR.
